The IPM fee at IIM Indore for the 2026-31 batch is structured across two phases. The total programme fee is approximately ₹44.8 Lakhs for domestic students.

Foundation Stage — First Three Years

The UG phase fee is approximately ₹5.55 Lakhs per year, covering tuition, lodging, internet, and library access. Additional charges include a refundable caution deposit of ₹50,000 in the first year (refunded upon programme completion) and an annual mess deposit of ₹54,000. Medical insurance premiums are applicable each year.

PGP Stage — Fourth and Fifth Years

IIM Indore IPM Eligibility Criteria 2026

To appear for the IPMAT conducted by IIM Indore, candidates must fulfil the following criteria for the 2026-31 batch:

• Age: Born on or after August 1, 2006. A relaxation of 5 years is provided for SC/ST/PwD candidates (born on or after August 1, 2001).
• Class XII: Must have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent in 2024 or 2025, or be appearing in 2026. Candidates completing Class XII by July 31, 2026 may also apply; admission will be provisional.
• Minimum Marks: At least 60% in Standard X and Standard XII (55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates).
• Mathematics: Not mandatory — students from all streams (Science, Commerce, Arts) are equally eligible.
• CGPA Conversion: For CBSE students, multiply CGPA by 9.5 to get the equivalent percentage. IIM Indore calculates aggregate based on all subjects on the mark sheet.

Admission Process for IIM Indore IPM 2026

The IIM Indore IPM admission process has five stages:

Stage 1 — Application: Apply online at the IIM Indore admissions portal. Application fee: ₹4,130 (General/EWS/NC-OBC); ₹2,065 (SC/ST/PwD). The IPMAT 2026 application window closed on March 17, 2026.

Stage 2 — Aptitude Test (IPMAT): The IPMAT 2026 is scheduled for May 4, 2026 (afternoon shift, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM), conducted across 39 cities in India as a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Stage 3 — Sectional Cutoffs: Candidates must clear all three sectional cutoffs (QA SA, QA MCQ, VA) to be eligible for PI shortlisting. In 2025, 818 candidates were shortlisted out of approximately 16,357 who scored positive across all sections.

Stage 4 — Personal Interview (PI): Shortlisted candidates appear for an offline PI. IIM Indore expects consistent minimum performance across all PI parameters — candidates not meeting the minimum in any parameter are eliminated.

Stage 5 — Final Merit List: A category-wise merit list is generated based on the Composite Score (CS):

• IPMAT Score: 65%
• Personal Interview: 35%

IIM Indore IPMAT Exam Pattern 2026
