One Test, Nine Campuses

A single IBSAT application fee of INR 1,800 lets candidates apply to all nine IBS campuses.IBS Bangalore, Dehradun, Hyderabad and Jaipur offer the 2-year full-time MBA, while IBS Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune offer the 2-year full-time PGPM.

Admission Process

  • After qualifying in IBSAT 2026, candidates are invited to the selection process at the IBS Hyderabad campus in February 2027.
  • Candidates who have appeared for another national management test instead of IBSAT can apply with valid scores from CAT, XAT, NMAT by GMACTM, or GMATTM (2024 onwards).
  • The selection process consists of a micro-presentation and a personal interview. Based on graduation marks and the selection-process score, the desired IBS campus is allotted according to campus cut-off scores. After allotment, candidates pay the required admission fee to confirm their seat.

A Micro-Presentation

  • Brief talk or presentation where candidates demonstrate their communication, presentation skills, and ability to think quickly on their feet.
  • Candidates have the opportunity to select one topic out of three. The format allows for 4 minutes in total: 1 minute for preparation and 3 minutes for delivering the presentation.

Personal Interview

  • Each candidate will be interviewed for 5-7 minutes.
  • The interview panel will focus on assessing the attitude and aspirations of the candidates besides evaluating their General Knowledge, communication skills, clarity of thought and expression, as well as aptitude for a career in management
