UPSC Mains 2025 Admit Card- Important Instructions

Once the admit card is downloaded, candidates must be mindful of the following instructions related to the UPSC Admit Card 2025. 

• Ensure that you carry the hard copy of the Admit Card to the examination hall, as entry without it is prohibited. Also, preserve the printed copy of the admit card till the declaration of the final result of the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025. 
• It is your responsibility to keep your admit card in safe custody. In the event of any other person using this e-Admit Card, the onus to prove that you have not used the service of any impersonator lies on you. 
• It should be noted that any errors in filling in the details in the OMR answer sheet, especially concerning roll number and test booklet series code will make the answer sheet liable for rejection. 
• Candidates will be allowed to enter only the exam venue written on their hall ticket.
• The following items are forbidden inside the examination hall: 
• any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), 
• pager
• any electronic equipment 
• programmable devices or storage media like pen drives, smartwatches, etc. 
• camera, 
• Bluetooth devices, 
• or related accessories, either in working or switched off mode, capable of being used as a communication device during the examination. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action, including a ban from future examinations. 
• Normal, non-digital wrist watches are allowed inside the examination hall. 
• Do not bring any valuables/costly items and bags to the examination venue, as safekeeping of the valuables will not be the responsibility of the commission. 
• If you do not have a clear photograph on the admit card, bring a photo-identity proof and two passport-size photographs (one for each session) for appearing in the Examination along with an undertaking. 
• Admit cards for their scribes will be issued separately by the commission.
• Candidates who have opted for their scribe may download the admit card of scribes as well. Entry without admit cards will not be allowed. 
• Read the instructions on the UPSC Admit Card carefully before the exam day. Any event of discrepancy or misinformation shall not be entertained by the commission at the last moment.
