The UPSC Mains 2025 Admit Card was released on 14th August 2025. Based on past years' trends, the admit card has been released two weeks before the examination. The Admit Card is now out on the official website, upsc.gov.in. Candidates who qualified for the Main examination can now easily download the Admit Card. 

The UPSC Main examination is set to begin on 22nd August 2025 and will continue till 31st August 2025.

UPSC Mains 2025 Admit Cards are expected to be released soon on the official website of UPSC. Once they are released, aspirants can follow the steps mentioned below to download their admit cards. 

  1. Visit the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in.
  2. Head to the ‘Admit Card’ or E-Admit Card’ section on UPSC’s home page. 
  3. Locate ‘E-admit card, Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2025.’
  4. Click on the link provided to download the E-Admit Card. 
  5. Enter your registration ID, date of birth, and captcha, as required. 
  6. Click ‘submit’. Your admit card will appear on the screen. You can now print the admit card and download a copy for further reference.

No, no electronic gadgets or devices such as mobile phones, any electronic devices, pen drives, bluetooth devices, smart watches etc are strictly prohibited in the examination center. If candidates are found with these items, UPSC will take disciplinary action against the candidates and they will be banned from future examinations as well.

You can re-download the admit card multiple times up to 31st August 2025. However, to prevent this situation, download and keep a digital copy of the admit card on your device and multiple printed copies of the admit card.
