EXAM PATTERN 2024
In the CLAT UG exam, the number of questions has been reduced to 120, with a duration of two hours. Each question carried one mark, with a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

Exam analysis 2024
English Language:
- Most passages were from literature.
- Questions were straightforward, making the process of elimination effective for passage-based questions.
- Surprisingly, there were no vocabulary questions.
Logical Reasoning:
- Apart from one challenging passage on Product Efficiency, the questions were generally concise and straightforward.
- Some questions focused on inference, strengths, and weaknesses.
Legal Reasoning:
- Passages primarily centered around bills like the Juvenile Justice and Protection Bill and Data Protection.
- Questions required basic application of principles.
Quantitative Aptitude:
- With the exception of a challenging passage on Population Survey, the other passages were relatively easier.
- Topics included ratio & proportion and percentages, with some tricky questions on percentages.
General Knowledge:
- Most questions were passage-based, covering topics like G20, the Gaza Strip,Constituent Assembly and ISRO.
