MICAT-2 2018 Analysis, Cut-off & Score Calculator

Here is the first impressions on the MICAT II exam, 17 February 2018

Overall MICAT 2 was on expected lines. The descriptive section was similar to MICAT 1. Like MICAT 1, VA section was tricky though not difficult. The Convergent and divergent thinking section was moderate-tough. The Visual Reasoning questions were easy but the word association questions were really close. The QA section was easy-moderate with a lot of questions from functions. So, the paper was slightly unusual.

Overall, the expected cut-off will be higher than MICAT 1. Good attempt - 15-16/25 in logical reasoning, 20-21/25 in VA, 20-22/25 in QA. The psychometric section remained the same. All the questions were a repeat of MICAT 2016.
