NMAT is a computer-adaptive online test conducted by GMAC for admission to an MBA program at various reputed B-schools in India. The following is an overview of NMAT eligibility criteria 2026:

NMAT Eligibility - Educational Qualification

Applicants for NMAT 2026 must have a certificate of classes 10th/12th and graduation or equivalent from a recognised board/institution.

Candidates must get the following minimum percentage of marks in their graduation:

• In the case of applicants from the General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories, 50% or its equivalent grade is required.
• In the case of candidates from the SC/ST categories, 45% or equivalent is required.

Candidates who are currently in their final year of graduation meet the NMAT eligibility to take the exam. However, their admission will be considered provisional until they submit the required final mark sheet and certificate of graduation at the time of admission; otherwise, their admission will be revoked.
