CBSE Class 10th Science Paper Analysis 2019

The Class 10 Science paper was on 13 March, 2019. It was the second major paper in the CBSE Class 10 Board Exams after Maths. Most students were able to finish the paper comfortably in the 3 hour duration.

Students had internal choices in Sections B, C, D and E. Students were required to attempt only one of the choices in such questions.

Here is a detailed review of the paper-

  • The paper was easy and students were able to finish it on time comfortably.
  • Section C was the toughest section. Sections C and D were the lengthy sections as well for most students.
  • Questions in Section E which were based on Practicals were a little tricky but not difficult.
  • There were some numericals from Light and Electricity chapters. They were easy.
  • All the questions were from the NCERT textbooks.
  • Students can get atleast 65 in this paper quite easily.
