Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) is a Central University in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The university is named after Babasaheb Ambedkar, a social reformer, polymath, and the architect of the Indian Constitution. The university was established on 10 January 1996. The university has a satellite campus at Amethi too, which was established in 2016. It has been accredited 'Grade A' by NAAC. The university has 69th position in the overall category by NIRF, 2023.
BBAU runs a number of 40+ Departments, 100+ courses, 200+ Faculty & 4000+ Students under which numerous UG, PG, Research-based and Integrated courses are provided. BBAU admission 2024 for UG programs will be based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The university accepts CUET (UG) scores for admissions to UG courses offered by BBAU, such as BA (Hons), B.Sc, Integrated, and programs. Apart from CUET, the candidates are also required to register for the counselling portal of the university whenever it is open. The portal usually opens around (before or after) the time when CUET results are declared. It is mandatory for the students to register for the BBAU admission counselling portal to participate in the BBAU UG admission process 2024.
