Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is a central university located in Okhla, Delhi. The University was originally established in 1920 in Aligarh, United Province (Now Uttar Pradesh). In 1935, it was moved to its current location.

Currently, JMI offers UG, PG, Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Doctorate Programmes which easily amount to 100+ courses under 9 faculties. The 9 faculties are:

Besides the above nine faculties, JMI has a number of centres for learning and research such as:
AJK-Mass Communication Research Centre (MCRC), Academy of International Studies, Center of Management Studies etc.
The Jamia is also marching ahead in the field of Information Technology (IT). It offers various undergraduate and postgraduate IT courses.

Jamia Millia Islamia Courses:

At the moment Jamia offers 56 undergraduate programmes. All the GG courses require the interested candidate to write CUCET as of 2021 as per the NEducational Policy. Programmes’ duration range between 3 to 5 years. BA/BBA courses are of 3 years, B.Tech/BE courses are for 4 years while, BDS, B.Arch courses are for 5 years. The 56 Jamia UG programmes are:

What attracts students to Jamia besides it being one of the top central universities is its attractive low tuition fees. For most of the UG programmes the fee ranges between ~ 7000/- to 16150/- per annum approximately. The highest ~INR 16,150/- being for the technical programmes such as B.Tech. BPT has a much higher fee than others courses ~ INR 21,800/-
