IIM Amritsar proudly enters the league as the sixth IIM to offer the coveted IPM Program. Following the footsteps of IIM Ranchi, the institute will streamline admissions by considering IPMAT-Indore scores.

IPM IIM Amritsar Important Dates

As the institute gears up for its inaugural batch in 2025, mark these key dates:

IPM IIM Amritsar Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: Not more than 20 years as of July 1, 2025 (Relaxation up to 25 years for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
• Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class XII/HSC (or equivalent) in 2024 or be appearing in 2025, with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
• Minimum Marks Required (Class X & XII):

NC-OBC: Minimum 55% SC/ST/PwD: Minimum 50%

IPM IIM Amritsar Selection Procedure

Taking the IPMAT-Indore exam is a mandatory requirement for admission to the IPM program. Thus, the eligibility criteria for IPMAT-Indore also apply while considering admissions into the IIM Amritsar IPM program.

To secure a spot in the IPM program:

Stage 1: 

Eligibility Criteria and Application Submission

1. Meet Integrated Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program eligibility requirements
2. Submit a complete application with the applicable fee
3. Register for and submit IPM-AT 2025 registration numbers to IIM-Amritsar

Stage 2: 

Shortlisting for Personal Interview

1. Shortlist based on Aptitude Test Score (ATS)
2. ATS calculated using IPM-AT 2025 individual component scores(30% weightage to Score in Quantitative Ability (MCQ), 30% to Quantitative Ability (SA) and 40% to  Verbal Ability (MCQ)
3. No individual rejection letters will be sent

Stage 3: 

Personal Interview(PI)

1. Shortlisted candidates attend PI
2. Assessment of academic profile, communication skills, general awareness, and extracurricular activities

Stage 4: 

Merit List and Provisional Admission

1. Category-wise merit list based on Composite Score (CS)
2. Provisional admission will be offered adhering to the Government of India reservation norms
3. Composite Score(CS) is calculated based on weighted components including ATS(70%), PI Score(25%), and Gender Diversity(5%)
