IIM Indore IPM Program

Launched in 2011 by IIM Indore, the IPM program is first of its kind in India. The IPM program is specifically designed for business management aspirants. It is a program meant for young aspirants of management and leadership. The program is fit for students who have graduated from class 12h. The program structure of the IIM Indore IPM program is a combination or amalgamation of 3 years of Under-graduation studies with 2 years of post-graduation studies or masters.

IIM Indore IPM program consists of 15 terms spread over a period of 5 years, with each year having 3 terms of 3 months. IPM is divided into two parts. 

The first part is spread over the first three years and aims at building a foundation. The last two years mainly focuses on management. The candidates are awarded their degree at the end of the fifth year by IIM Indore only after the successful completion of the program.

Internship

The students pursuing the IPM program at IIM Indore are required to take a social internship at the end of the second year and a business internship between the 4th and 5th years. The internship is a binding part of the IPM curriculum at IIM Indore.

Student Activities

Various extra-curricular activities are available to IPM students in order to inculcate leadership and managerial qualities. Several clubs and committees are also formed by IIM Indore in order to complement the academic activities. 

Fees and Accommodation

  • The program fee for Indian residents of the first three year- Rs. 4,00,000/- per annum

  • The course fee for an International student for the first three years- Rs.6,00,000/- per annum

  • The fee for the 4th and 5th year would be as per the prevailing PGP Program. The course fee includes accommodation, internet facilities, library, etc.

How to Apply?

  • Candidate need to fill up the IIM Indore IPM registration.  And qualify the IPMAT exam conducted by IIM Indore 
  • Candidates should first check the eligibility criteria. Eligible candidates should submit their application form before the last date. 

IPM Indore Selection Process:

As part of the selection procedure, candidates will have to undergo the 'Aptitude Test' by IIM Indore which will test the Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Proficiency in English of the candidate.

Candidates who are shortlisted will proceed to the second stage, i.e., Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

  • Written Aptitude Test (WAT): WAT is a 30-minutes duration test where-in candidates are required to write an essay on the topic given for WAT. The candidate's language ability, coherence, organization, and the ideas and arguments expressed will be assessed to examine the candidate's essay.
  • Personal Interview (PI): Those candidates who qualify the Aptitude Test round will be eligible for the Personal Interview. The interview judges the students' level of confidence, communication skills, general awareness, persuasion skills, and knowledge. This is administered by the admissions committee.
