IIM Rohtak, IPM program 

IIM Rohtak introduced the Five-year cross-disciplinary program specifically for students after they graduate from class 12th. IPM program is designed for students who aim at having a career in Business Management. The program is a combined course of Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs. The notion of the program is to cast students in a framework that provides outstanding managerial and leadership qualities. 

IPM Rohtak Programme Structure 

The IPM program at IIM Rohtak comprises of 15 terms spread 5 years. Each year has three terms of three months of duration. The IPM Programme is divided into two fragments. The first fragment is anchored by the foundation courses and the second part focuses on the management A mandatory internship is also a part of the program. Each student is required to undergo a business internship at the end of the academic year. 

Every year, the students will undergo various projects which include immersive learning opportunities in the form of research work with faculty of IIM Rohtak, rural/social emersion project, and business internship. Placement support will be provided to the students completing five years of course of studies.

IPM Rohtak Course Curriculum 

The IPM program had four core parts, namely:

Apart from these four other courses like Marketing Management, HRM, General Management, Business Communication, etc are also a part of the IPM program. 

The courses offered by IIM Rohtak in the fourth and fifth year of the IPM program are identical to the curriculum of the PGP program.

How to Apply?

  • Candidate need to fill up the IIM Rohtak IPM registration form which aims at evaluating applicant’s proficiency in academics as well as in extra-curricular activities
  • Candidates should first check the eligibility criteria. Eligible candidates should submit their application form before the last date i.e. 6th April 2020.
  • The application form fee is Rs. 3,890/- (Non-refundable)

IPM Rohtak Selection Process:

As part of the selection procedure, candidates will have to undergo the 'Aptitude Test' by IIM Rohtak which will test the Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Proficiency in English of the candidate.

The online Aptitude Test will be held in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi, and Visakhapatnam.

Candidates who are shortlisted will proceed to the second stage, i.e., Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) will be conducted in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, and Kolkata (liable to change).

Written Aptitude Test (WAT): WAT is a 30-minutes duration test where-in candidates are required to write an essay on the topic given for WAT. The candidate's language ability, coherence, organization, and the ideas and arguments expressed will be assessed to examine the candidate's essay..

Personal Interview (PI): Those candidates who qualify the Aptitude Test round will be eligible for the Personal Interview. This is administered by the admissions committee.
