IPMAT 2020 Rohtak: Exam Pattern, Syllabus, Registration, Admit Card, Calendar

The IPM programme at IIM Rohtak is a cross-disciplinary management programme that has a blended course of management studies from under-graduate to Postgraduate. IIM Rohtak designed the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) for students who have graduated from 12th/Higher Secondary or equivalent. The IPM programme at IIM Rohtak will consist of 15 terms which will be covered over 5 years with internship projects at the end of every academic year. The IPM programme at IIM Rohtak can be categorized in two segments. The first segment focuses on foundation courses whereas, the second segment focuses on management courses. Students will be awarded an MBA degree on successfully completing the five years IPM programme, however, should they wish to exit after completing the first three years, a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) will be awarded instead.

IIM Rohtak conduct the IPMAT 2020 exam in virtual mode on 20th of July and 21st of July (PwD candidates)

Note: Candidates are advised to use a laptop with minimum internet bandwidth requirement of 512 kbps. However, in case of any emergency they will be allowed to make use of their smartphones.

IPM Rohtak Aptitude test registration

Online registration fee: The eligible applicants will pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 3890/- (Three Eight Hundred and Ninety Only)

Registration for IPM 2020 can be done by following the steps given below:

  • Candidates may register for IPM 2020 through the online application form available on the official website.
  •  
  • The IPM registration form requires candidates to submit their basic information. It is advisable to submit all the details correctly as no correction window will be provided once the registration is done. 
  • The candidate will receive an IPMAT registration number and password after the successful completion of the registration process. These credentials can be used later to access the IPM application form. Fill in the required, personal information and academic details and upload your scanned photograph and signature.
  • Valid and attested certificates will be needed to claim any reserved category benefits for NC-OBC, SC, ST, and PWD/DA. 
  • Double-check the information entered before saving any information or submitting the IPMAT application form.
  • The last step is to make the payment for IPMAT Exam
  • You will receive the payment confirmation on the registered email address once the payment has been received.

IPM 2020 Admit Card

The IPM 2020 Admit Card or IPM 2020 Call Letter will be available for download on the official website. To download the IPM admit card, candidates will be required to enter their login credentials on the admit card page. It is mandatory to carry the IPM Admit Card along with the required IDs to be allowed to write the exam.

IPM Rohtak Admission Criteria:

Candidates must be 20 years of age (maximum) as on July 31, 2020. Candidates who are in the final year of standard XII/ HSC or equivalent that is likely to be completed by July 31, 2020 are also eligible to apply.

IPMAT Rohtak

IPMAT by IIM Rohtak is conducted in online mode. It aims at evaluating the analytical and reasoning abilities of candidates.The duration of the email is two hours.

The exam comprises of 120 questions from three broad sections: Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability. Shortlisted candidates, will then be called for a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

 

IIM Rohtak IPM Exam pattern:

IPMAT can be categorized in three sections. Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability. Each section contains 40 questions. Making it a total of 120 questions. The exam is in MCQ format.

IPM Rohtak Marking Scheme:

  • Like any other exam IPMAT Rohtak also follows a marking scheme.
  • For every correct answer 4 marks are awareded,
  • For every incorrect answer 1 mark is withdrawn.

IPM Rohtak IPM Exam syllabus:

Stage 1:

  • As part of the selection procedure, candidates will have to undergo the 'Aptitude Test' by IIM Rohtak which will test the Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Proficiency in English of the candidate.
  • The questions will be multiple choice questions with 4 marks for every right answer and a negative marking of -1 for every wrong answer.
  • The online Aptitude Test will be held in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.

  • Candidates who are shortlisted will proceed to the second stage, i.e., Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) will be conducted in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, and Kolkata (liable to change).
  • Written Aptitude Test (WAT): WAT is a 30-minutes duration test where-in candidates are required to write an essay on the topic given for WAT. The candidate's language ability, coherence, organization, and the ideas and arguments expressed will be assessed to examine the candidate's essay. This test is conducted for only those candidates who are shortlisted the Personal Interview (PI) round.
  • Personal Interview (PI): Those candidates who qualify the Aptitude Test round will be eligible for the Personal Interview. This is administered by the admissions committee.

The intake of the students into the IIM Rohtak IPM Program is 150 with the reservation criterion according to the Government of India rules.

IIM Rohtak IPMAT 2019 exam analysis

The IPM AT 2019 of IIM Rohtak was of moderate difficulty level with few questions found to be relatively difficult than others. The exam did not have any sectional time limit. The IIM Rohtak IPM Aptitude Test 2019 cut-offs remained high considering the difficulty level of the exam.



IPM Rohtak Programme Fees:

  • Indian candidates: The fees for IPM programme at IIM Rohtak is INR 4,10,000/- per annum for the first three years.
  • International candidates: The fees for IPM programme at IIM Rohtak is INR 6,20,000/- per annum for the first three years.
  • The programme fee for the 4th and 5th year will be as per the prevailing fees of IIM Rohtak's PGP programme.
