CAT 2025 Application Form Correction Window, Check Dates

The CAT 2025 application form correction process will start after the completion of the registration process. The correction window became live at 10:00 AM in the last week of September 2025, during which candidates will be allowed to edit certain fields of the CAT application form 2025. Candidates who have registered for the exam can make changes to their application forms. The CAT form correction window will remain open for 3 days, and the CAT application form edit link will be available only on iimcat.ac.in.

Remember that the form correction is not mandatory for all; it is only meant for candidates who have made errors while filling out the CAT application form, and no additional fees will be charged for making corrections to the submitted CAT application form.

How to Edit CAT Application Form 2025?

Filling in all the accurate and correct details when registering for CAT 2025 is always advisable. However, once the CAT  application form correction window opens, you will need to follow the steps below:

Step-by-Step CAT Form Correction Online

Step 1: To rectify your errors, visit the official CAT 2025 website, i.e., iimcat.ac.in.

Step 2: Log into your account by entering your credentials.

Step 3: Now, you can review your CAT application form 2025.

Step 4: Once you do this, you can make the required changes, edit and re-upload your photo and signature, and update your test city preference.

Step 5: Click on I agree in the declaration window and submit.

With this, your CAT 2025 application form will be edited, and you can also take a printout of the updated application form.

Note: During the CAT form correction window, IIM allows you to edit or rectify uploaded images of photos and signatures, as well as change test city preferences. However, no changes are permitted in the fields of name, date of birth, email ID, state, work experience, and mobile number using the form correction facility for CAT.

Details You Can Edit In CAT Application Form Correction 2025

The CAT application form correction window is for updating only the photograph, signature, and city preferences, if required by the candidate. As per the official notification, apart from the details mentioned in the table above, you cannot edit any other details, including:

> Applicant’s Full Name

> Date of Birth

> Mobile Number

> Email ID

> State

> Work experience

CAT 2025 Application Correction Window – Dos and Don’ts

You must keep the following points in mind while re-uploading the photo and signature during the CAT 2025 application form correction window:

> The photograph should be recent and not older than 6 months.

> The photograph should have a white or off-white background.

> Ensure that you are not wearing a cap or sunglasses in the photograph.

> Your recent photograph should clearly show the head, face, and shoulders.

> Spectacles are allowed only if they are regularly used.

> Make sure that you upload a signature written in running hand.

> Do not upload a signature written in capital letters, as it will not be accepted under any circumstances.

What After CAT Application Correction Window 2025?

Once the CAT Application Form Correction Window is closed, CAT Admit Card 2025 will be released tentatively on November 5, 2025. The admit card will include details of your allotted CAT test center and a Google Maps link, and it will be available exclusively for candidates who have successfully registered and submitted the correct details to the conducting authority. These candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official website.

It is worth noting that this would probably be the last chance for all CAT aspirants to make corrections in their application form and should be used wisely, as no further corrections will be allowed in the CAT application form after this.
