As the last of the IPM entrance exams concludes, let’s take a look back on the IPM season that has been.
The season of 2025 has been a special one for IPMAT/JIPMAT aspirants, with newer, better-reputed colleges and IIMs joining the league of IPM providers, and so much happening in the management space for undergrad students.
In total, 10 IIMs today offer management studies in the undergrad space in India, which is huge in comparison to the previous years. 7 IIMs out of the lot of 10 are specifically offering the IPM course. The advancement of this space speaks a lot about the evolving managerial space in India and in the world.

About IPMAT Indore
IPMAT-Indore, which was the entry gate for 2 IIMs until last year, IIM Indore and IIM Ranchi, is now the clearing examination for 5 IIMs for integrated IPM/BMS programs. The IPMAT-Indore accepting colleges include:
- IIM Indore(Of Course)
- IIM Ranchi
- IIM Sirmaur(BMS program)
- IIM Amritsar
- IIM Shillong
With an increased number of colleges accepting the exam, the exam was of a “moderate-to-difficult” difficulty level than previous variants.

IPMAT Indore 2025 Section-by-Section Difficulty Level Analysis
On a general analysis, there were a few highlights in the exam, which were unusual considering the previous variants of the exam.
- The overall level of difficulty of the exam would be termed moderate-to-difficult.
- In the Verbal Ability section, A conversation-like RC appeared, which was different from the previous year
- The Quantitative Ability(Short Answer) section was easy, while the Quantitative Ability(Multiple Choice Questions) section was where most students struggled.
- Verbal Ability in general was easy.
