Admissions for the MBA 2026 are conducted through the Joint Admission Process 2026 (JAP 2026). IIM Raipur participates alongside IIM Kashipur, IIM Ranchi, and IIM Tiruchirappalli. The application and PI shortlisting processes are common to all four participating institutes; after the PI, each institute independently prepares its own category-wise merit list.

For the MBA 2026, candidates are shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI) based on their CAT 2025 scores. The cutoffs are set jointly under the JAP 2026 process and apply equally to all four participating IIMs: IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, and IIM Tiruchirappalli. For General, EWS, and NC-OBC candidates, the minimum bachelor’s degree aggregate is 60%. For SC candidates, it is 50%, and for ST and PwD candidates, it is 45%.

Yes. Work experience carries up to 15 marks in the final score. The maximum score is awarded to candidates with 36 to 42 months of relevant post-graduation employment. Work experience beyond 48 months scores 5 marks, while less than 12 months scores 0. Only full-time, post-graduation employment with proper documentation is counted. Internships and articleships are excluded.
The Profile Score is 5 marks: 4 marks for graduating from a top-10 NIRF 2025-ranked institution (in any ranked category), and 1 mark for holding a CFA Level 1, 2, or 3 certification. Affiliated colleges not directly listed in NIRF are not eligible for the institution quality marks.
