To be eligible for the IIM Rohtak PGP 2026-28 programme, candidates must satisfy the following criteria:
Unlike several other IIMs, IIM Rohtak does not apply section-wise CAT percentile cutoffs. Shortlisting for the Personal Interview round is based exclusively on the overall CAT 2025 percentile. The minimum cutoffs are category-wise thresholds; meeting these does not guarantee a PI call, as the final shortlist depends on the pool of eligible applicants per category.
The table below presents the minimum overall CAT 2025 percentile required by each category to be eligible to register for the PI process for PGP Batch.

Indian Institute of Management Rohtak offers a range of academic programmes designed for students at different stages of their careers. The programmes are structured to build strong managerial foundations, analytical skills, and leadership capabilities.
The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) is the flagship two-year, full-time residential programme at IIM Rohtak. It is designed to equip students with core management knowledge across disciplines such as finance, marketing, operations, and strategy. Admission is based on CAT scores followed by a Personal Interview as per the institute’s selection criteria.
The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is a five-year programme for students after Class 12. The first three years focus on foundational courses in management and allied disciplines, followed by the final two years aligned with the PGPM curriculum. Admission is conducted through the IPM Aptitude Test (IPMAT), followed by a selection process.
The Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) is designed for working professionals. It focuses on enhancing managerial skills and leadership capabilities while allowing participants to continue their professional careers. The programme structure and delivery are aligned with industry requirements.
The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is a doctoral-level programme aimed at candidates interested in research and academic careers. It provides rigorous training in research methodologies and allows specialisation in various management disciplines.
IIM Rohtak follows a completely independent five-stage admission process for PGP Batch 17. The institute does not participate in the Common Admission Process (CAP). Candidates must register directly on the IIM Rohtak admission portal at admission.iimrohtak.ac.in.

Registration opens tentatively from December, with the last date being January next year. Candidates must create a Login ID and password, complete the application and admission data form, and pay the non-refundable registration fee of 3,095 through the admission portal only. Candidates who selected IIM Rohtak in their CAT 2025 application form must still register separately on the IIM Rohtak portal.
IIM Rohtak conducts its own independent online Personal Interview process. Shortlisted candidates receive an email with a web link for PI registration. Call letters carrying the date, time, and other guidelines are sent to registered email IDs. Shortlisting for PI is based on CAT score and diversity factors.
The final merit list is prepared using a composite score with three components, CAT percentile (60%), Personal Interview performance (20%), and Academic and Gender Diversity (20%). Category-wise merit lists are prepared separately as per Government of India reservation norms for General, EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST, and DAP categories.
The table below details the weightage assigned to each component of the IIM Rohtak PGP 2026 final selection composite score. The score is used to prepare the category-wise merit list from which provisional admission offers are made.

Provisional offers are made strictly on the basis of the merit/rank list and seat availability per category. All admission offers are issued by the Controller of Examinations and sent only from pgpadmission@iimrohtak.ac.in. Any offer received from another email ID is invalid and unofficial. Candidates accepting the offer must deposit the Offer Acceptance Amount through the admission portal within the stipulated date.
On the day of reporting, the admission team physically verifies documents at the campus, including CAT score validation, degree/marksheet verification, updated category certificates, and other ID documents. Hostel rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, separately for male and female students.
All admissions to IIM Rohtak are provisional until the completion of all joining formalities on campus. Any misrepresentation in the application at any stage leads to cancellation of the admission offer.
The fee structure below is based on the most recently published PGP fee schedule. The fee for 2026 will be published separately on the admission portal. Candidates are advised to check the official website for the updated schedule applicable to their batch.
