Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak was the 8th IIM institute established in the year 2009. It is the only IIM to be strategically located in NCR. In its first year of formation this institute was mentored by IIM Lucknow. The batch size of this institute is approximately 150-160.

IIM Rohtak Eligibility

Eligibility For PGP

  • The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA (45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD)/Differently Able (DA) category) awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. The candidate may possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
  • Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor’s degree / equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirement and are awaiting results can also apply. The candidate is required to have obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent till the latest examination.

Eligibility for FPM

One of the following qualifications is required for eligibility.

  • Post-Graduate degree or equivalent in any discipline (including M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, MBA, MCA, M.Tech., etc.) with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA.
  • Professional qualifications such as CA, ICWA and CS with at least 50% marks or equivalent.
  • Professional qualifications such as MBBS and LLB with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.*
  • Engineering degrees, viz., B.Tech, BE, etc. with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.*
  • Students in their final year can also apply if they fulfill all the requirements by June 30 of that year.

Eligibility For EPGP

  • Executives with a bachelor's degree (minimum 10+2+3 years of formal education) or equivalent in any discipline and more than 5 years of post-qualification managerial/professional work experience may apply. A valid GMAT score (taken within last 36 months of application date) is also required.

 

IIM Rohtak Admission Procedure

  • For PGP Programme

    The candidate has to go through 2 stages to get selected in this programme.

    • The first stage is appearing for the CAT Exam conducted by the IIMs (GMAT for the international candidates).
    • On clearing the required cutoffs and the composite score, a candidate is called for the WAT and PI.
    • Final Selection List (FSL) will be prepared based on CAT score, PI and Written Analysis Test score, Work Experience (WE) and score for Past Academic Performance (PAP) and any other criterion included.

  • For EPGP Programme:
    • The candidates are required to produce a valid CAT or GMAT score not older than 2 years from the last date of application. Candidates with a CAT score above 75%ile or GMAT score above 650 are directly considered for the personal interview.
    • Candidates with a CAT or GMAT score below the above mentioned scores are required to appear for the Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT)
    • Final list of the selected candidates will be based on the merit list prepared after the personal interview.

  • For FPM programmes
    • Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic profile and the score of the qualifying examination from the list given above.Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview at IIM Rohtak.
    • Candidates possessing a PGDM of IIMs with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 out of 4.33 or equivalent will be eligible for applying directly, without taking a qualifying examination again.
