The MBA-BM program is XIMB's flagship two-year, full-time residential course leading to a UGC-recognized Master's degree awarded by XIM University. The curriculum follows a six-term structure that integrates case studies, live projects, corporate immersion programs, and research. It accepts CAT, XAT, GMAT, and XGMT scores.
This two-year full-time program focuses on people management, organizational behavior, labor law, and HR strategy. It admits 60 students per batch and additionally accepts NMAT by GMAC scores alongside the standard exam set. It is designed for candidates seeking specialized HR roles in corporate environments.
Upholding a 29-year legacy at XIMB, the MBA-RM program prepares graduates for leadership roles in rural development, agri-business, microfinance, and NGO management. The program admits 60 students and accepts NMAT scores in addition to XAT, CAT, GMAT, and XGMT.
The MBA-SM program addresses the growing corporate demand for professionals who can integrate sustainability into business strategy. Students engage with NPOs, manufacturing, consulting, environmental services, and rating organisations during placements. Intake is 60 seats per batch.
This niche program trains managers for roles in urban planning, public policy, smart cities, and governance. It accepts GATE scores in addition to standard MBA entrance exams and admits 60 students per year.
The one-year full-time EMBA is designed for working professionals with a minimum of three years of post-qualification work experience. Self-employed candidates require a minimum of five years of experience after graduation. Candidates must be at least 23 years old as of July 1, 2026, and must submit a no-objection certificate from their employer.

Academically, 48% of the batch holds a B.E./B.Tech degree, followed by B.Sc (14%), B.Com (13%), BBA/BBM (7%), and other disciplines (18%). In terms of work experience, 50% of the batch comprises freshers, while the remaining students bring experience ranging from under 12 months to over 48 months, with an average work experience of 24 months.
XIMB announces the shortlist and cutoff scores for WAT, GD, and PI in the first week of February each year. Official cutoffs are published on the XIM University website. Work experience is not mandatory for the two-year full-time MBA programs at XIMB. However, it carries significant weight during the final merit list preparation.
