Integrated Program in Management (IPM): An Overview of the IIM Indore's Five-Year

The program aims to provide the best education and groom young minds to become future business leaders. Accredited by the Association of MBAs, London, the IPM course at IIM Indore is divided into three years of undergraduate studies and two years of post-graduate studies. Undergraduate Years (First Three Years) During the first three years of the IPM course, students at IIM Indore are trained and taught various skills and subjects to prepare them for management studies.

Learning effective business communication, case analysis, and report writing IPM Course Foundation The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) course at IIM Indore spans five years and consists of 15 terms, with each year having three terms completed in three months. The first three years focus on intense foundation building across various disciplines, while the last two years impart management-specific education.

The IPM course foundation at IIM Indore comprises three major elements : 1. Core Disciplines: Courses in psychology, sociology, political science, and economics provide an understanding of the foundational subjects in management studies. 2. Analytical Rigor: Courses in mathematics, statistics, and economics build analytical skills and rigor. 3. Breadth and Perspective: Courses in humanities, literature, and fine arts provide a broader perspective and breadth of knowledge. At the end of the third year, IPM students are required to complete both a social internship and a business internship during the fourth and fifth years. These internships aim to polish students' managerial skills and instill leadership qualities. Upon successful completion of the 5-year course, students are awarded a Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) and a Master of Business Administration under the Dual Degree Programme by IIM Indore.

The fees for the fourth and fifth years are the same as the regular PGP programme. Hostel facilities are provided on a sharing basis for the first three years, while students in the fourth and fifth year are allotted single rooms. Eligibility Criteria and Selection Process To be eligible for the IPM course at IIM Indore, candidates must meet the following criteria: General and NC-OBC category: Minimum 60% aggregate in Higher Secondary and Senior Secondary Certificate (X and XII). SC, ST, and PWD (DA) category: Minimum 55% aggregate in Higher Secondary and Senior Secondary Certificate (X and XII). General category candidates must not be older than 20 years as of July 31st, 2019. ST/SC category candidates must not be older than 22 years as of July 31st, 2019.

The selection process for the IPM course at IIM Indore includes : 1. Filling the application form. 2. Appearing for the IPMAT entrance exam, which assesses aptitude, logical reasoning, English proficiency, and mathematics skills. 3. Shortlisted candidates are called for personal interviews, evaluating communication skills, confidence levels, general awareness, persuasion skills, and knowledge.
