University of Delhi (commonly known as DU) was established in 1922 and is one of the largest Universities in the country. With 16 faculties, 86 academic departments, 90 colleges and 540 programs on offer, Delhi University is no doubt one of the sought-after University in the country.
With 1, 96,000 students enrolled in UG programs, Delhi University is a valued university and constantly ranked among the top in the country. DU bagged 11th Rank in NIRF 2020 and ranked 6th in QS India Rankings 2020. The University has two Campuses: North and South.

As the University offers multiple programs and separate intake for male and female candidates, it is important to check the university official website regularly to keep oneself updated about the eligibility for each program, which can change.
Until 2020, Delhi University admitted students on the basis of class XII marks. From the academic year 2021, admissions to UG programs offered Delhi University will be based on Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) and merit. CUCET will be a common entrance for admissions to UG programs offered by all the Central Universities in the country.
DU being a Central University offers reservations in admissions according to central government rules.
In a move that could be a potential game changer for higher education in India, the government has recommended to conduct a Common Entrance Test (CUCET) for the 54 Central Universities from the academic session 2021-2022. Check out all the universities accepting CUCET exam score
