The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is an entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate courses offered by the Central and many other state, private, and deemed universities in India, including DU, BHU, JMI, JNU, AMU, AU, HU, etc among others. The exam will test one's language aptitude, subject knowledge, and general mental ability.
As per the latest notification, 44+ central universities, and in total 250+ universities will accept the CUET 2024 Scorecard. Some of the popular universities include DU, JNU, HU and AU.
CUET 2024 will be conducted in hybrid mode (both online & offline) by the National Testing Agency (NTA). For subjects with 150000+ applicants, and a few states (Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, and some Northeastern states) the test will be held in offline mode. For the rest others, the exams will be held in online mode.
For every correct attempt, 5 marks will be awarded. For every incorrect attempt, 1 mark will be deducted. There will be no penalty for unattempted questions.
