P.G.D.A.V. College holds a distinguished place in the history of South Campus education at the University of Delhi. Established in 1957 by the DAV (Dayanand Anglo-Vedic) management tradition in collaboration with philanthropists Pannalal and Girdharlal, the college has grown from a modest institution into one of DU’s most comprehensive co-educational colleges, serving over 3,900 students annually.

The college is named after its founding philanthropists and is rooted in the Arya Samaj tradition of accessible, values-based education. Located on Ring Road near Vinobapuri Metro Station in Lajpat Nagar, PGDAV is well-connected and draws students from across Delhi, the NCR, and other states, with approximately 57% of its student body from outside Delhi state.

The college is accredited by NAAC with a Grade B (CGPA 2.70) and has made a significant leap in the NIRF Rankings - achieving rank #97 in the Colleges category as per NIRF 2025, up from the 151-200 band in NIRF 2024. PGDAV College offers UG programs across Arts, Commerce, and Science streams. Admission to all UG courses is based on CUET UG scores through the DU CSAS portal. The minimum eligibility for all UG programs is a pass in Class 12 from a recognised board. A minimum of 45% marks in Class 12 (40% for SC/ST) is required, along with a valid CUET UG score.

PGDAV College UG Admission Process 2026

PGDAV College UG admission 2026 follows the standard University of Delhi CUET–CSAS process. The entire process is online via the NTA CUET portal (cuet.nta.nic.in) and the DU CSAS portal (ugadmission.uod.ac.in). There is no separate interview or college registration required for PGDAV College admission.

• Register for and appear in CUET UG 2026: Select the correct subject combination for your target program at PGDAV College. (Registration for 2026 has closed.) Note: The CUET UG 2026 exam is scheduled from May 11 to May 31, 2026.

• Download your CUET UG 2026 Admit Card: Download from the NTA portal, expected 3–4 days before the exam. Carry a printed copy and a valid photo ID to the exam centre.

• Check CUET UG 2026 Result & download Scorecard: After the exam, check your CUET 2026 result and download the scorecard from the NTA portal. Results are expected in the last week of June 2026.

• Register on the DU CSAS Portal: Register at ugadmission.uod.ac.in. The portal is expected to open in the first week of June 2026. Pay the non-refundable CSAS application fee (250 for UR/OBC/EWS; 100 for SC/ST/PwBD).

• Fill in your program and college preferences: On the DU CSAS portal, select PGDAV College and your desired course in order of priority. You can add multiple courses and colleges as backup preferences.

• Seat Allocation Rounds (3-4 rounds): DU releases 3–4 seat allocation rounds. After each round, check your allocation on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, accept the offer within the specified deadline and pay the admission fee to confirm your seat.

• Complete Document Verification: Complete document verification online (or in-person as per DU’s process for 2026). Your seat is confirmed only after documents are verified and fees are fully paid.

• Commencement of Classes: Classes are tentatively scheduled to begin in August 2026.
