IIT Indore
The Indian Institute of Technology Indore also known as IITI started functioning under the mentorship of IIT Bombay from 2009 onwards. The campus is spread across 518.9 acres located at Simrol, Indore in Madhya Pradesh. The first batch of IIT Indore graduated in 2013. Currently IIT Indore has 11 academic departments and it offers admission at UG, PG and PhD levels.

Getting into IIT Indore -Admissions
- For all B.Tech programs-JEE Advanced
- The aspirants have to qualify JEE Main and then JEE Advanced to be eligible for counseling. Only the top 224,000 students in JEE Main will become eligible to sit for JEE Advanced.
Also, the candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognized board with 75% marks (65% in case of ST/SC/PwD)
IIT Indore admission Procedure
JEE MAIN > JEE ADVANCED > COUNSELING
B.Tech admission at IIT Indore is done through online counseling. Counseling organized by the JoSAA is held for those candidates who are shortlisted through the screening process on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in JEE. After the allotment of seat candidates need to submit the requisite fee and required documents for verification.

CAMPUS LIFE AT IIT Indore:
The student life at IIT Indore is a good balance of academic and extra-curricular activities. Extra-curricular activities are driven by various clubs like Robotics club, Programming club, Music Club, Drama Club, Literary club etc. that contribute to the all-round development of the students. Students participate in various competitions like SAE BAJA, Inter-IIT Sports Meet, Inter-IIT Cultural Meet etc. and their performance keeps on improving. Flexus, IIT Indore’s annual techno cultural festival is organized every year by them which hosts some of the greatest names in the field of music, science etc.
Placement at IIT-I
The Institute has achieved more than 90% placements for the students graduated in 2015, 2016, 2017. Some of the students opt for higher studies to top rated universities while a few also go for their own enterprises. Reputed companies regularly visit IIT-I for recruitment. The average salary in the last few years had been nearly 15 LPA and the highest package received till date is 1.7 crore per annum.
