MHT-CET Exam

MHT-CET is a state level entrance examination conducted by the Government of Maharashtra for admissions into B.Tech, B.Pharm, Ph.D. and other degree courses of different colleges of Maharashtra. State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has already released MHT-CET notification for the year 2018. For registration, students can visit the official website at dtemaharashtra.gov.in. Engineering aspirants especially those hailing from Maharashtra itself, should be looking forward to this exam..

MHT-CET Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • There is no age limit to apply for MHT-CET.
  • Candidates appearing for/passed their HSC/12th or its equivalent examination from a recognized board can apply.

 MHT-CET exam pattern:

  • MHT-CET 2018 will be conducted in an online mode, to be attempted within 180 minutes.
  • The exam will be held on 10th May, 2018.
  • There are a total of three papers but engineering aspirants need to appear only for paper I and paper II

*Please note that there is no negative marking in MHCET 2018.

MHT-CET Syllabus:

The exam will include questions from classes XI and XII with 20% weightage given to class XI syllabus and 80% to class XII syllabus.
