JEE ExamJEE(Joint Entrance Examination) is a nationwide common engineering entrance exam which is conducted every year for admission to various engineering colleges across different parts of the country. It is your gateway for entering the prestigious IITs, NITs, Central Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). It is regarded as one of the most challenging entrance in the country.
JEE is conducted in two parts
There are some institutes like the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs), Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, and the Indian Institute of Science that consider the marks obtained in JEE Advanced as the one of the criteria for admission. However, these institutes are not a part of central IIT JEE Advanced counselling. Many States like Gujarat, Nagaland, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Orissa have joined JEE (Main) system. Therefore, the aspirants seeking admission to the institutions in these states are also advised to fill in the JEE (Main) - 2016 application form online.
JEE EligibilityJEE MAINS:
The candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2014 or 2015; or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2016 are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) - 2016.
JEE ADVANCED:
Only top 2 lakh candidates of JEE Main are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.
JEE Exam PatternThe pattern of the both the paper is different.Each paper can be attempted in English or Hindi.

Paper 1: it will have 60 questions of 264 marks.
