Today (January 08, 2017) was the second day of IPPB Preliminary Exam 2016. It is being conducted in four time slots from morning to evening. A total of 100 questions had to be answered in 60 minutes. All the other sections, except the English Language section, were available bilingually, that is, in both English and Hindi. There was a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.

The Quantitative Aptitude section of IPPB Prelims Exam 2016 saw questions from a variety of topics. Some commonly asked topics were Time and Work, Mensuration, Percentage, Mixtures & Allegations and Profit, Loss and Discount. There was 1 set each of Table Based Data Interpretation which was calculation intensive and Line Graph based Data Interpretation which was of moderate difficulty level. The overall difficulty level of this section was moderate to difficult.
