IPMAT-Indore, the Integrated Program for Management Admission Test, is the most popular IPM exam as it offers admissions to the top B-schools including the IIMs.

IPMAT 2027 will allow students to apply for the batch of 2027-2032.

IPMAT 2027 Eligibility Criteria

As per the past year's trends, IPMAT 2027 will be open to candidates who meet the following criteria.

• All candidates who are born on or after August 1, 2007, are eligible to appear for the IPMAT with a provision for age relaxation of up to 5 years for candidates from SC, ST, and PwD categories i.e. candidates born on or after August 1, 2002.
• Qualifying Exam: All candidates who have completed their standard X/SSC and higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent exam from schools across India in 2025 or appearing in 2026 are eligible to take the IPMAT Exam in 2027.

*Previously, IIM Indore used to have minimum qualifying marks in Class 12(60% for General Category & 55% for others) for writing IPMAT-Indore. But as per their latest guidelines for admissions, they have removed that criterion.

Note: As IPMAT 2026 is almost 2 years away, the guidelines might change for seeking admissions into IPM Indore.

Although IPM Eligibility for all the IIMs offering the course is similar. Students should still check the eligibility criteria separately.

IPMAT 2027 Application Process

Registrations for the IPMAT 2027 exam will be online on the official IPMAT website.

Based on the process of previous years, here is an expected understanding of the fees and documents required for registration-

IPM Registration Process

Step 1: Select ‘New Candidate Registration’ on the official website and fill in your basic details.

Step 2: After submission, you will receive an OTP for verification of the registration.

Step 3: After the verification is complete, on the email and mobile number registered, you will get a unique ID and password to log in.

Step 4: Now you can begin entering the required details in the application form.

Step 5: Pay the registration fee for IPMAT 2027.

Uploading Documents

While filling out the application form, you must also upload the required documents in the given format-

• Photo
• Signature
• NC-OBC/SC/ST certificate
• PwD certificate

You will be required to present your mark sheets in person.

Pay the Application Fee (Tentative)

You must pay the application fees to complete the registration process.

• The fee can be submitted online only.
• You will also have the option to preview the application before making the payment and submitting the application form.
• You will receive a confirmation email a few minutes after paying successfully.

IPMAT 2027 Admit Card

The conducting body of the exam, i.e., IIM-Indore, issues the admit card for the IPMAT 2027 exam. As per the past trends, the admit card will be made available for download around the first week of April 2027 for all candidates who have completed the application procedure.

The IPMAT Admit cards are released only in online mode on the official website.

The IPMAT Admit Card 2027 will have all the important information required by an aspirant on the exam day. So, it is advisable to keep extra copies of the admit card as they will be needed for the counseling process during admission as well.

IPMAT 2027 Syllabus

IPMAT aspirants primarily focus on studying school-level Mathematics and English as those are the primary two sections of the exam. Based on the same conclusion, given below is the tentative syllabus for the three sections of the exam.

QA and VA are the primary two sections within which there are segregations for Short Answers and Multiple Choice Questions. But many a time, sets of DI and LR are seen in IPMAT in the QA section, so one cannot entirely ignore the DI & LR section.

IPMAT 2027: Results
