IPMAT 2027 Syllabus
The IPMAT Indore syllabus is different from the IPMAT syllabus for Rohtak. Even the respective scores of both the tests are accepted by different IIMs and other institutes for admission to IPM and other degree programs.

- JIPMAT: IIM Jammu, IIM Bodh Gaya, TAPMI Manipal, etc.

IPMAT Indore Syllabus 2027

Section 1: Quantitative Ability -Short Answer (QA SA)
QA SA is the most distinctive and challenging section in IIM Indore IPMAT. Candidates must type in numerical answers directly - no answer choices are provided. There is no negative marking, making it mandatory to attempt all 15 questions even when unsure.

What Is IPMAT 2027?
The Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) is the gateway to the 5-year IPM (BBA/BA + MBA) programs at IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak. The IPM program is designed for students who have completed Class XII and wish to pursue management education from the undergraduate level at a premier IIM.

How to Prepare for IPMAT 2027
Step 1: Foundation Building (Months 1-4)
Complete all Class 9-12 NCERT mathematics topics, focusing on Arithmetic and Algebra first. For VA, begin reading one editorial or essay daily from The Hindu, The Indian Express, or The Economist. For Rohtak aspirants, start LR from the basics - arrangements and syllogisms first.
Step 2: Topic-wise Intensive Practice (Months 5-7)
Solve 20-30 questions per topic daily, starting with the highest-weightage areas. For QA-SA (Indore), practice typing numerical answers under time pressure. For VA, solve 2 RC passages and 10 vocabulary questions every day - no exceptions.
Step 3: Sectional Mock Tests (Months 8 & 9)
Take timed sectional mocks - 40 minutes per section - to build the stamina required by IIM Indore's strict sectional limits. Analyse accuracy rates per topic and fix weak areas immediately.
Step 4: Full Mock Test Phase (Month 9 onwards)
Take a minimum of 15-20 full-length IPMAT mocks under exact exam conditions. Post-mock analysis is mandatory - identify patterns in errors, not just the errors themselves.
Step 5: Final Revision (Last Month)
Revise all QA formulas, shortcut techniques, and grammar rules. Do not attempt new topics. Focus entirely on speed and accuracy in areas you already know.
