Staff Selection Commission (Combined Higher Secondary Level) Tier I Examination 2018 (July 01, 2019): Analysis

Today was first day of the Staff Selection Commission (Combined Higher Secondary Level) Tier-I Exam 2018. The exam will be conducted from July 01, 2019 to July 26, 2019.
There are four sections, namely, General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness consisting of 25 questions each. All sections, except the English Language section are available bilingual i.e. in both Hindi and English medium. Every correct answer will fetch 2 marks and 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.

The overall difficulty level of this section was moderate. Most of the questions were calculative. This section was dominated by Arithmetic, Geometry, Trigonometry and DI.

General Awareness:

The overall difficulty level of this section was moderate. The questions were from History, Geography, Polity, Economics, Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics), Current Affairs, Static Awareness and Miscellaneous GK. The paper was dominated by Science and Miscellaneous GK questions. 8/9 questions were from current affairs.
