IIM Indore released the list of students shortlisted for IPM 2025-30 in the evening of June 6, 2025, almost 25 days after the exam was conducted on May 12, 2025.
This marks the shift to the second stage of the IPM admission process – Personal Interview Preparation – clearing which will finalise the entry of a student into the prestigious IIM Indore IPM, right after class 12.
But before that, let’s look at the minimum marks or cutoffs that were required to get shortlisted, and also how to check if you have been shortlisted for IIM Indore IPM.

Check if you have been shortlisted for a personal interview for IPMAT-Indore 2025 in the 3 simple steps below:

- Choose IPM in the academic programs section.
- Click on the admissions button

Gender-Wise IPMAT-Indore Student Insights
- Across all categories, males outnumber females roughly 60:40 in those who scored above 1 in all sections.
- However, the representation of females improves in final cutoff clearance in some categories (notably NC-OBC and SC).

A few inferences from the data presented above:
1. General Category Dominance
- Out of 16,357 total candidates who secured a positive raw score, 74% (≈12,132) belong to the General category.
- In the final shortlist (cutoff met in all 3 sections), 301 General category candidates qualified — the highest among all categories.
2. IPMAT-Indore 2025 Category-Wise Performance
- NC-OBC: 2,350 cleared the raw score threshold; 245 met the cutoff in all sections.
- SC: 717 cleared raw score; 113 met cutoffs.
- ST: 170 cleared raw score; 51 met cutoffs.
- EWS: 901 cleared raw score; 75 met cutoffs.
- PwD: 87 cleared raw score; 33 met cutoffs.
3. IPMAT Indore Cutoff Trends
- The General category students had the highest cut-offs:
- Quant SA: 24
- Quant MCQ: 28
- Verbal: 112
- Cutoffs are significantly lower for reserved categories (especially ST & PwD), ensuring inclusive access.

- General candidates had the highest ATS range (41.55 to 89.24).
- ST and PwD showed the widest spread in performance, with ST’s minimum ATS at just 2.30, indicating wide variance.
- NC-OBC had a competitive range (19.83 to 70.45), showing strong performance just below General.
