CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) is a national-level MBA Entrance Exam administered by NTA (National Testing Agency) which is conducted once every year. The entrance examination will have 100 questions equally divided into 5 sections of 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in each section.
CMAT 2023 was held on 4th May 2023 and the results were available from 31st May 2023. Registrations for CMAT 2024 are expected to begin in the 2nd week of February 2024. Results for all appeared candidates are declared as per the final answer key, and the rank obtained by the test-takers will be used for MBA/PGDM/PGPM/PGP course admissions in AICTE-approved courses. More than 1500 colleges across the country accept the exam scores.
The exam is accepted by more than 1500 MBA colleges in India to select candidates for their MBA or PGDM programs. The difficulty level of CMAT tends to be on the lower side compared to other exams like CAT,GMAT, and XAT. However, it is not to be underestimated.

Aspirants must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to be allowed to sit for the exam:
The registration process is expected to commence in the 2nd week of February 2024. The students are required to submit their applications online. There is no provision to submit the application offline.
The first step in the process is to submit the basic information. After the successful submission, the candidate will receive his application number and password. In order to log in thereafter, the candidate will be required to log in with his credentials to submit the application form.
Log in with your system-generated login credentials and complete your application form. Upload all the documents including your scanned photograph and signature
Select a suitable payment option and follow the instructions available online to complete the payment. After a successful payment transaction, a confirmation page will be generated. If the confirmation page is not generated then the amount debited will be refunded back and you will have to make the transaction again.
The next step after filling up the online Application Form is to pay the registration fee. As per last year, the application fee for different categories is as follows: -

The National Testing Agency releases the list of colleges that accept the exam score and this list is also available on the AICTE website. There are around 1500 MBA/PGDM colleges that will accept the exam score for MBA admission in 2024. Here are some of the prominent names among them:

There is no aggregate requirement for aspirants to be eligible for CMAT 2024. The only prerequisites for eligibility are that the aspirant should have completed their bachelor’s and be a citizen of India.
