The NMAT is a national-level MBA Entrance Exam conducted by GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council). One of the major reasons for the popularity of the NMAT Exam is the fact the NMAT Score is accepted by several top colleges across the world. More than 45 colleges in India accept NMAT by GMAC exam as an entry route for MBA admission. The minimum eligibility criteria for the NMAT is that a candidate should have completed a bachelor's from a recognized college/university with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent grade point average.

NMAT is taken in a 70-day window and the registration can be done by visiting the official website of NMAT by GMAC. Students are allowed a maximum of three retakes of NMAT and there needs to be a gap of fifteen days between two retakes of the examination.

NMAT Application Form for B-schools

A candidate gets an option of selecting up to 5 Top NMAT Colleges schools from the list of participating colleges during NMAT registration. If a candidate wants to apply to more than 5 colleges, an additional fee of Rs 300 + taxes will be charged per scorecard.

GMAC sends the NMAT report to the preferred universities after the declaration of the result. The colleges set a minimum cut-off as an admission barrier to sift the candidates based on various parameters including 10th, 12th, and graduation grades, gender diversity, and work experience.
