CUET 2027 Syllabus

The CUET 2027 syllabus is expected to be the same as the current syllabus. It encompasses the entire class 12 NCERT syllabus for respective subjects (for all domain subjects in Section II). However, for English (and other languages) and GAT (General Aptitude Test), NTA has defined the specific topic list separately, which is mentioned on the official CUET website.

What is the CUET 2027 Exam Pattern?

The CUET exam pattern is the set of rules and guidelines on which the CUET question papers are based. It includes the number and types of questions, the maximum and minimum number of questions to be marked, the options available, the marking scheme, etc.

• The paper will be divided into three sections.
  • Section I: Languages - Total 13
  • Section II: Domain Subjects - Total 23
  • Section III: General Aptitude Test - GAT
• For all three sections (Language, Domain Subject, & GAT), the question paper will have 50 compulsory questions each.
• The time duration for all the papers (across sections) will be the same, i.e. 60 minutes.
• Each correct answer will carry 5 marks, and incorrect answers will carry -1 mark.

CUET 2027 Registration

The CUET 2027 registrations are expected to begin in January 2027 (tentatively). Once the registration portal is opened, it remains open for at least a month. Students can complete the CUET registration and fill out the CUET application form till the last week of February 2027.
