Srinivas's Mantra

  • Drop all preconceived notions about yourself, as well as what is expected of you in an interview. Being open to listen, learn, and be guided should be the first step. The fact that you have an opportunity to sit for an interview is proof that you have the basic intellectual power that is required. Now, it is just a test of your personality.
  • Few questions are common across all interviews, but the answers to these questions need a personal touch. Feel free to be creative with the answers. You need not come across as just another product of a standard supply chain. My job as a mentor is to guide every student in a unique manner to suit their personality, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Knowledge, of both yourself and your subjects, must be thorough.

Students Speak!!!

If Srinivas were interviewed - "Tell us something about yourself"

I am, deep down in my heart, a true gamer. I have had the gamer's instinct since my college days. The qualities that make me a good gamer are what define me as a person, as well. I am not very creative. I do not innovate too many things, but what I am good at is observing people—observing how they strategize; and then adapting them and becoming better than them. In fact, I was known for doing exactly this in my college. I have brought this to my work life, as well. I hereby take roles that involve me in transforming a chaotic environment into an organized and process-driven platform.

Favorite Author

George Orwell

I am a fan of his work '1984'.
I read this book when I was influenced by Socialist ideas. The book is an extreme satire of Socialism; and it changed my perception of Socialism completely. This was a pivotal moment in my life where I was introduced to a different line of thought.
I also admire Isaac Asimov for 'The Foundation' series.

Role Model

I don't have a single role model; but admire a few personalities for their character traits. I like Roger Federer, for his persistence and hard work; Virat Kohli, for his aggression; Viswanathan Anand, for his diligence; and Amit Shah, for his micromanagement and acumen.

Know him like you "know him"
