RBI Assistant Main Exam 2019 Analysis (November 22, 2020)

Today (November 22, 2020) was Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Assistant Main Exam 2019. There were 200 questions, which had to be answered in 135 minutes. There were five sections, namely, Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge. All the sections except the section on English Language were available bilingually, that is, both in English and in Hindi. Each question had 5 options. There was negative marking of one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to any given question.

This section primarily saw moderate (calculative) level of questions. A candidate could have attempted 23 to 25 questions with good accuracy.

General Awareness

In general, the difficulty level of this section was moderate. This section saw a mix of questions from Current Affairs (last 4 months- specially September, October and November), Static GK and Banking. About to 25 questions were from current affairs. 3-4 questions were from static GK. 10-12 questions were from Banking and Financial Awareness. A candidate could have attempted 23 to 25 questions with good accuracy.

Computer Knowledge:

This section comprised questions of easy level. The questions tested candidates’ basic knowledge of computers. Questions were asked on short cut keys of Find, Copy, and Paste. Topics were HTTP, Topology etc. A candidate who has basic knowledge of computers could have attempted 28 to 30 questions.
