The CUET 2026 syllabus (for domain subjects) will comprise the Class 12 NCERT syllabus for respective subjects. The CUET 2026 syllabus comprises the whole NCERT class 12 syllabus for respective subjects. Students must note that it is the whole NCERT (not any Boards, i.e. CBSE or ICSE) class 12 syllabus.
A total of 26 subjects were dropped from the CUET UG syllabus in 2025. These include 20 languages (mostly foreign) and 6 domain subjects. (Entrepreneurship, Teaching Aptitude, Fashion Studies, Tourism, Legal Studies, Engineering Graphics).

Class 12 Board marks are as essential as the CUET UG score, especially if a student aspires to take admission to DU. The Class 12 Board marks are considered to decide tie-breaker scenarios in DU UG admission.
In case there is a tie in the CUET score of two or more candidates applying for the same course and same college, then their Board marks will be considered for UG admission.
