CUET 2024 Exam Analysis

The third edition of the common UG entrance test (CUET UG 2024) began on May 15 and will continue till May 29. The exam was scheduled to conclude on May 24 earlier. However, due to a technical glitch, the exams in Delhi on May 15 had to be rescheduled for May 29. This year the tests were conducted in a hybrid mode (both online and offline) for the first time. The offline (pen and paper) mode papers began on May 15 and concluded on May 18. The second phase of CUET (UG) 2024, online (CBT) mode papers are scheduled for May 21, 22, and 24.

Note: Due to unavoidable circumstances, NTA had to reschedule the offline mode papers scheduled for May 15 to May 29 (for Delhi centres only).

CUET 2024 Exam Analysis (May - 18)

Shift 1: History

From the comprehensive feedback from numerous test takers and a thorough review of the question paper by our experts, the CUET History paper can be rated as easy to moderate on the difficulty level. The questions were mostly knowledge and fact-based, as expected by many. Students didn’t have any complaints about the paper and expressed satisfaction with the overall CUET History paper experience.

Shift 2: Political Science

The CUET Political Science paper is scheduled for Day 4, shift 2. The detailed CUET exam analysis for the Political Science paper was prepared after collecting feedback from multiple test takers and analysing subject matter experts' opinions. The general opinion suggested that the paper was considerably easy, as the questions were direct from the NCERT textbook.

Students expressed their satisfaction with the nominal challenges the CUET Political Science question paper posed.

Shift 3: Sociology

The CUET Sociology paper is scheduled for Day 4, shift 3. Following the trend set by the previous two papers, the CUET sociology paper was no different. The student's feedback and expert review outlined the paper to be easy to moderate in difficulty level. The questions were evenly distributed across all the constituent chapters from the syllabus.
