IPMAT 2020 Exam Pattern (Rohtak)

To make it through any exam it is paramount to understand the exam pattern first. For any student who aspires to clear IPMAT 2020, it is mandatory to be aware of the IPMAT 2020 exam pattern. IIM Rohtak has prescribed the syllabus and IPMAT 2020 exam pattern.

IIM Rohtak originally planned to conduct the exam online on 21st of May but In light of the current COVID-19 outbreak and the ongoing lockdown IIM Rohtak has postponed the IPMAT 2020 exam. 

Outline on IPMAT 2020 Exam Pattern

This section of the article will provide the candidate with an overview of IPMAT 2020 exam pattern including the allotted time, number of questions asked the marking scheme, etc.

  • IPMAT is a computer based test hence, will be conducted in online mode.
  • The duration of IPMAT 2020 will be 120 minutes i.e. 2 hours
  • The exam will have three sections. For each section 40 minutes will be allotted
  • IPMAT 2020 marking scheme-
    • For each correct answer 4 marks will be awarded
    • For each incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted
    • If any question is left unanswered, marks will neither be awarded nor deducted.

IPMAT 2020 Exam Section

  • Verbal Aptitude
  • Quantitative aptitude
  • Quantitative aptitude section will further be divided in two sub-sections. An MCQ section and a short answer section.
