IPMAT Indore: Test sections and pattern


IPMAT-Indore Test Sections:

IPMAT Indore primarily comprises Quantitative Ability (MCQ), Quantitative Ability (SA) and Verbal Ability sections. The questions, marks and time distribution for these sections are given below:

IPMAT-Indore Marking Scheme

 

  • Each question carries 4 marks throughout ALL sections.
  • There is negative marking of -1 in the Quantitative Ability(MCQ) and Verbal Ability sections
  • There is no negative marking for the Quantitative Ability(SA) section
  • If any question is left unanswered marks will neither be awarded nor deducted  

 

 

IPMAT-Indore Time Limit

Candidates are given 2 hours to solve the entire test. It should be noted that there are sectional time limits and each respective section should be solved within the allotted 40 minutes.

Note that Maximum and Minimum scores refer to the highest and lowest scores obtained in respective sections by the candidates who appeared for the IPMAT.

 

Weightage of the IPMAT-Indore

If respective candidates manage to clear the cut-off for the IPMAT, then they will be invited to appear for the Personal Interview (PI) which will be intimated to them by the institute. All candidates who meet the minimum expectations set by IIM Indore for the PI round will then be shortlisted after which IIM Indore will evaluate them on the following basis:
