The CUET (UG) exam pattern for 2025 has brought in some significant changes to make the exam more straightforward. These changes include:

Fewer Subjects: The number of subjects has been reduced from 63 to 37. Now, students can choose up to five subjects instead of six. This makes it easier to focus on the most relevant subjects.

Standard Duration: Each exam will last 60 minutes, with 50 compulsory multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in every subject.

No Skipping Questions: Candidates won’t be able to skip any questions or choose between them, which means you’ll need to answer all questions carefully within the given time.

Online Format: The exam will be entirely computer-based, so students must be comfortable with online testing.

Moderate Difficulty: CUET (UG) is considered moderate difficulty. Some parts may be more complex, but the exam is designed to assess a range of skills and knowledge.

Higher Competition: The changes might make the exam more competitive. With fewer subject choices and no skipping questions, students must be well-prepared and manage their time efficiently. Also, as more students are applying, competition for seats could increase.
