About Visva-Bharti University

Visva-Bharti University is a central research university and an Institution of National Importance which was established in 1951 by an Act of Parliament, with an objective of exploring the arts, language, humanities, music, etc. Visva-Bharti University is NAAC accredited with “B” grade and was ranked 50 in NIRF 2020.

Visva-Bharti University is in Shantiniketan and was established with a mission to seek to realize in a common fellowship of study the meeting of the East and the West, and thus ultimately to strengthen the fundamental conditions of world peace through the establishment of free communication of ideas between the two hemispheres.

60% marks in aggregate and 60% marks in the specialisation subject (General/Elective) at + 2 level

English

Hindi

45% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in Hindi at least (half paper 50 marks) at the +2 level

60% marks in aggregate and 60% marks in the specialisation subject (General/Elective) at + 2 level

Comparative Religion
