How difficult it is to crack CUET?

With the introduction of the CUET, students nationwide have an equally shared chance of getting admission to the country's top universities, regardless of the boards they passed out from. 200+ universities including 47 central universities across the country will now accept admissions via CUET scorecard of the candidate. It was implemented to ease the strain of high cutoff requirements for admission to prestigious universities. The CUET will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).

Following are some of the highlights of CUET 2022 and 2023:

Taking into consideration the number of seats and number of candidates appearing for the exam, cut-offs are anticipated to go much higher than the previous year. The difficulty level is also expected to increase in 2023. So obtaining a good rank to get admission to prestigious universities will be even tougher.

According to NTA, the CUET syllabus will be in accordance to 12th class NCERT’s syllabus. Hence NCERT books are the best for the preparation of CUET. Apart from NCERT, students should refer to various other preparation books to further fine-tune their skills. Attempting mock tests and sample papers is crucial to identify individual strengths and weaknesses before the exam. Cracking CUET exam requires rigorous and diligent preparation.
