The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is one of the most significant undergraduate entrance tests for students as it serves as a doorway for admission to UG universities all over India. To get admission to leading universities/colleges and desired courses, you are required not only to excel in the all-India UG entrance exam CUET but also in the class 12 Boards.

Top universities of the country, like DU, will also consider the class 12 Board mark of the students to decide the tie-breaker. It is a scenario, where two or more students with the same CUET score apply for the same college and course.

The primary basis of UG admission will be the CUET score of the candidate. Students need to keep in mind that, if required then their Board marks will also be considered. Therefore, to secure admission to their dream colleges, students need to perform well equally on their Boards as well as CUET.

> Score Card: After appearing for the examination, CUET scores are announced. Students are then considered for admission based on their scores and other relevant factors.

> Registering for Counselling: After the CUET result is declared, students need to check the dates for the counselling process of various universities of their choice and register for its counselling process, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

> Counseling/Interviews: Shortlisted applicants might be contacted for counseling sessions or interviews as part of the last selection procedure.

> Merit List/Selection Criteria: Universities will most likely make a merit list based on CUET scores, academic performance, and other specified criteria. Some institutes may schedule interviews or other additional methods for selection procedures.

> Document Verification: Universities may ask for document verification which includes the CUET scorecard, educational documents, certificates, and other important credentials to confirm your eligibility.

> Final Admission Offer: Qualified applicants will get a formal admission offer from the universities. Follow the guidelines delivered to ensure your admission enclosing payment of fees and document submission.
