Should I Register for DU Even After Taking the CUET?

Common University Entrance Test conducted by the NTA is a highly competitive exam. The CUET result will be the ticket for admission to top universities (including DU, BHU, JNU, JMI, ANU) in the country. But, merely applying, writing the CUET, and scoring well will not be enough to get you to your dream college. This is very crucial, students must know that university registration is different from CUET registration. Not just for DU, For taking part in any 45+ Central universities counseling/admission process, students must register to the respective universities admission CSAS portal by paying a nominal fee (like CSAS portal for DU). Most of the participating universities will be conducting their own counseling sessions for which you will have to fill in forms.

Admissions to all UG courses at DU affiliated colleges are conducted through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal. The admission process aspirants are required to fill the CSAS portal by visiting the official website – https://ugadmission.uod.ac.in/

Finally, the universities/colleges will announce their merit/cut-off list. Students had to check the list and their CUET score (percentile) 7 subject combination that they have appeared in the test to see if they were eligible or not. All the universities and colleges are expected to release multiple merit/cut-off lists. Students are expected to wait patiently and check for all the cut offs/lists.

The UG admission process for 20243 will briefly involve this important steps:

> CUET scorecard

> University/College eligibility

> University registration (Through CSAS Portal)

> Merit/admission list

> Final admission
