CAT comprises a blend of MCQs and Non-MCQ questions with QA in CAT 2022 comprising 8 non-MCQs and 14 MCQs. With more than 60% of the section being MCQs, you can focus on finding the answer among the choices given.
> Estimate the Answer
Calculating the answer in MCQs is a waste of time and effort since hurrying can lead to errors. In other words, reaching an answer isn’t important, but estimating it is. In order to select the correct option, work on improving your smart methods and shortcuts.
> Revise Formulae
It is important to remember the most commonly covered formulae as the quickest way to any answer is by applying the correct formula and getting the answer right. Consistently revise the mathematical formula and apply it in mocks.
> Elimination Technique
The elimination technique focuses on first identifying the options that are incorrect and cannot be considered for the question. This allows you to narrow down the correct options increasing the chance of accuracy.
