The CAT admit card 2024 has been released on November 5th, 2024 on the official website. Registered candidates will be able to download their CAT admit card at iimcat.ac.in through CAT login ID and password.
The last date to download CAT 2024 admit card is November 24, 2024, i.e. exam day. The admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam hall.
The CAT 2024 exam will take place in 170 cities across India. Each candidate will receive an admit card showing their test city and the address of their test center. Candidates are assigned centers based on the city they chose while filling out their CAT application form.
However, it's possible that a candidate may not get their preferred city. Therefore, it's important for candidates to download their CAT admit card well before the exam day to check their center details. If the test city is not what they wanted, they’ll have time to make other arrangements.

How To Download the CAT Admit Card?
CAT admit card, once available, can be downloaded from the official website - iimcat.ac.in. Candidates must provide their registration/application number and password to download the CAT 2024 admit card.
> Candidates will not be permitted to take the CAT exam unless they have a valid admit card.
> The admit card contains information such as the candidate's roll number, exam center name and address, exam timings, and important instructions.

Steps To Download the CAT Admit Card
Once the CAT 2024 admit card becomes available you can download it by following the steps given below.
Step 1: Go to the official website of CAT - iimcat.ac.in.
Step 2: Access your CAT account by entering your CAT Login ID and password.
Step 3: Click on the Login Button.
Step 4: After successfully logging in, click on the Download Admit Card option.
Step 5: Download and print your CAT Admit Card / Hall Ticket.

Important Things to Bring On CAT Exam Day
Candidates must carry the following items along with their admit cards to their designated CAT exam centers.
> Print out of the CAT admit card for identification purposes.
> A valid ID card such as a Voter ID, Passport, PAN card, or Aadhar card.
> A recent passport-sized photo with a white backdrop.
> A transparent water bottle. (If needed)
CAT Exam Day Instructions
The exam instructions are mentioned on the applicants' admit cards. Furthermore, the conducting body publishes distinct CAT instructions for bell times, test conducting standards, and regulations. Some key test guidelines are provided below.
> Candidates must bring their admit card as well as a valid ID card to the exam center. Those who do not bring their admission card or ID card will not be permitted to take the exam.
> Candidates should be at the examination center at least 45 minutes before the test begins.
> No applicant will be permitted to enter the examination venue 15 minutes after the test has begun.
> Carrying any study materials or taking handwritten notes is forbidden.
> Candidates are also not permitted to bring any electronic gadgets such as smartphones, calculators, smartwatches, or other electronic devices.
> No applicant will be permitted to leave the exam hall before the exam is completed.
