Record Placements for PGP 2021-23 Batch at IIM Shillong

The campus placements of the PGP batch 2021-23 have ended with the batch of 238 students getting employment offers from over 63 recruiters in various fields. The gender division of the batch was balanced with 45% females and 55% males.
Here are the most notable results of the placements:
- The highest bagged CTC is INR 71.30 LPA
- The average CTC of INR 26.96 LPA led to a 16.70% increase compared to last year
- The median CTC was INR 26.09 LPA
- The top 20% of students of the 2021-23 batch stood at 35.35 LPA
- The top 50% of students received an average CTC of INR 30.82 LPA
Based on the domain-wise overview of offers, the consulting and strategy domain led with the highest offers at 35% followed by the finance domain at 20%. Sales & Marketing and IT & Analytics were next at 17% and 16% respectively.
Section-wise, the BSFI sector came with 23% offers following the consulting sector with 31% offers. The manufacturing & retail sector made 20% offers while IT & Analytics made 14%.
Some companies that took part in the campus placements included Capgemini, Bain & Company, Deloitte, HDFC Bank, JP Morgan, Tata Steel, Berger Paints, Axis Bank, and Aditya Birla, among others.
