The MICAT 2026 is a complicated exam with 6 distinct parts arranged into 3 sections. There is a sequential manner in which each candidate is assessed based on their attempts in the 3 sections.
Note: There is a sectional cut-off in this section, with the candidate being required to clear all of the individual cut-offs along with the overall cut-off in this section for the final section to be assessed.

No, it is not compulsory to give both MICAT 1 and 2. Candidates can choose to give either MICAT 1 or MICAT 2. The better of the two scores will be considered for admission. MICA conducts MICAT twice a year, in December and February. Candidates can appear for either of the exams or both. If a candidate appears for both exams, the better of the two scores will be considered for admission.
