The NIRF rankings 2024 for MBA colleges were released on 12th August 2024 by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education, Government of India. With this release, the rankings for the top management institutes are now available, eagerly awaited by most CAT and other MBA aspirants. While IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Kozhikode maintained their positions in the top 3 B-schools, some significant changes have been observed in the NIRF rankings 2024 for other MBA/PGDM colleges.

The National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) is a standard nationwide methodology for ranking institutions in India. The methodology was approved and introduced in 2015 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). The framework is based on recommendations from a core committee that the MHRD set up. The parameters cover five broad areas:

> Research and Professional Practice (RPC)

> Graduation Outcome (GO)

> Outreach and Inclusivity (OI)

> Perception
